Francis M. Monteiro

Francis M. Monteiro, 58, of West Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Hope Health Hospice in Providence. Born on February 12, 1968, he was the devoted husband of Dawn M. (Jimmis) Monteiro, with whom he shared seven years of marriage.

Mr. Monteiro was the son of the late Francis M. Monteiro Jr. and Julianna (Belmore) Monteiro. He was employed for many years as a metal plater, most recently with Evans Plating in North Providence. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication and skill in his trade.

Francis found joy in spending time with his wife and in playing the drums, a pastime he cherished throughout his life.

Besides his wife Dawn, he is survived by his sister, Dawn M. Shaw and five nieces and a special friendly friend Linda Pacifico.

At the request of the family, funeral services for Mr. Monteiro will be private.
