Frieda W. (Wimberger) Craig

Frieda W. Craig, 90, of Boiling Spring Avenue, Westerly, RI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Westerly Hospital. Born in Blaichach, Germany on May 14, 1935, she was the beloved wife of George Craig. They were married for seventy years. She was the daughter of the late Johann and Franziska (Schnalzger) Wimberger.

Frieda was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her loving family. Her greatest joy was being a nurturing and doting mother and how she loved her coffee.

Along with her husband, George, she is survived by her children, Meliessa Andriano, Charlotte Jolly, Sharon Craig, and Diane Lydick; her grandchildren, Brian Andriano, Donna Lallo, Jason Francis, Jennifer McQuait, Randall Craig, Jesse Craig, Calvin Goodrich, and Kyle Lydick; thirteen great‑grandchildren; two cousins Else Wiesman and Franz Schnalzger along with their families.
