George E. Craig

George E. Craig, 93, of Boiling Spring Avenue, Westerly, RI, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Westerly Rehab and Health Center. Born on October 19, 1932, in Herman, ME, he was the husband of the late Frieda (Wimberger) Craig.

George was a senior communications technician for AT&T for many years before retiring in 1985. He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting photos and drawings of military aircraft, and traveling the world—especially to Germany, where he and Frieda cherished time spent with family.

He is survived by his children, Eric Craig, Meliessa Adriano, Charlotte Jolly, Sharon Craig, and Diane Lydick; his grandchildren, Brian Adriano, Donna Lallo, Jason Francis, Jennifer McQuait, Randall Craig, Jesse Craig, Calvin Goodrich, and Kyle Lydick; and many great‑grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, Joseph Francis, and his brother, Lloyd Craig.
