Gregory L. Silva

Gregory L. Silva, 67, of Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at home. He was born on July 9, 1956, in Providence, RI, to the late Rita O. Silva.

As a young man, Gregory served in the Marine Corps, from which he was honorably discharged. After he left the Marines, he met the love of his life, Beverly, in 1977 and they soon married in 1979. He went on to attend Johnson & Whales University to study Culinary Arts. In the years following, he worked at several local restaurants and country clubs. He then transitioned to a career as a truck driver, working for twenty years in the transportation industry before retiring in 1995.

He enjoyed camping and fishing. He was passionate about cooking, grilling and cookbooks. He was a lover of Blues Music and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by beloved wife of forty-four years, Beverly Silva, his two adoring children; his daughter Brandy Lee Silva and her husband Paul; his son, Anthony Silva; his brother, Scott Silva and his wife Sherry; his cherished grandson, Aiden Silva and several nieces and nephews.

Gregory’s service will be private.
