James W. Allen Jr.

James W. Allen Jr., 61, of 12 Reservoir Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on October 21, 1962, in Warwick, RI, he was the son of Helen C. (Brown) Allen and the late James W. Allen Sr.

James was self-employed as a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed collecting Native American memorabilia and cooking.

Besides his mother Helen Allen, James is survived by four children; Mercedes Allen, James Allen III, Jesse Allen and Toni-Jo Matchette, four siblings, Kimberly Allen, Christopher Allen, April Bucci and Jerel Allen and eight grandchildren.

James’ service will be private.
