Joan B. (Taylor) Allen

Joan B. Allen, 91, of Acres of Pine Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at home. Born on February 18, 1933, in Providence, RI, she was the wife of the late Richard Allen and the daughter of the late Leo and Blanche (Gerard) Taylor.

Joan was employed at Bostitch Company, East Greenwich, RI for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to their laughter. She was a gentle and loving mother to her family. She also enjoyed painting and arts and crafts.

Joan is survived by six children: Deborah Allen, Donna Willard (Jeff), Richard Allen, Leo Allen (Cathy), Mary Ginda (Jim), Kevin Allen and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by four siblings: Leo Taylor, Norman Taylor, Alfred Taylor and Claire Barney.

Joan’s services will be private.
