John L. Bailey

John L. Bailey, 78, of Carley Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on March 1, 1946, in Warwick, RI, he was the long time companion of Theresa M. Benoit. They were together for fifty years. He was the son of the late William and Ruth (Essex) Bailey.

John was a mechanic for many years. He worked for Superior Bakery, Cranston, RI, before retiring in 2012. He also worked as a general contractor and carpenter.

Besides his companion Theresa Benoit, he is survived by three siblings; Steven Bailey, James Bailey and Evelyn Nickels. He was predeceased by six siblings; Louanne Bailey, Arthur Bailey, Benjamin Bailey, William Bailey, Arthur Bailey and Robert Bailey.
