John Golomb Obituary

John C. Golomb, 96, of Fairview Avenue, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on March 4, 1925 in Coventry, RI, he was the husband of the late Jennie (Cherno) Golomb and the son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Pudlo) Golomb.

John was the owner and operator of Western Auto, Coventry, RI, for over fifty years before retiring.

John is survived by a son; Peter Golomb and his wife Darlene, two grandchildren; Gail Mello and Beth Lewis and two great grandchildren; Levi and Lucy. He was predeceased by five brothers; Peter Golomb, Frank Golomb, Thaddeus Golomb, Joseph Golomb and Chester Golomb.

A memorial service for John will be held at a later date and time.
