Joseph F. Darosa

Joseph F. Darosa, 61 of Cowesette Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the home of his daughter, Warwick, RI, surrounded by his family. Born on October 28, 1958 in Azores, Lajes do Pico, Portugal, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Maria (Pereira) Darosa.

Joseph was a mechanic technician for Amtrol Worthington Industries, West Warwick, RI for fifteen years. He also was the owner/operator of JD’s Tree Service. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family, grand kids and a Sunday drive in his red apple Corvette.

Joseph is survived by three children; Michael Darosa and his wife Stephanie, Stephanie Darosa and her husband Eric Medeiros and Eric Darosa, a sister; Susete Pereira and her husband John and four grandchildren; Jayden Darosa, Tobin Medeiros, Lucas Medeiros and Angeliah Medeiros and many nieces and a loving nephew. He was predeceased by a brother; Noroberto Darosa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick, RI. Burial will be private.
