Joseph Deary Obituary

Joseph A. Deary, 68 of Whaley Hollow Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at home. Born in Providence, RI on February 22, 1953, he was the husband of Karen (Schult) Deary. They were married for forty-six years. He was the son of the late John J. and Anita (Dumas) Deary.

Joseph was a mechanic for the City of Providence, Providence, RI, for ten years and a security guard for Metropolitan Life, West Warwick, RI for sixteen years before retiring in 2018. He was an American muscle car enthusiast. He enjoyed drag racing.

Besides his wife Karen Deary, Joseph is survived by a daughter; Jennifer Sampaio, a sister; Joyce Hogan, a brother; James Deary and three grandchildren Ella Sampaio, Travis Sampaio and Kayla Sampaio.
