Joseph M. Tarro

Joseph M. Tarro, 93, of South Main Street, Pascoag, RI, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Crystal Lake Rehabilitation, Pascoag, RI. Born on March 14, 1927 in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Dorothy (Patnaude) Tarro. They were married for sixty-nine years. He was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Diricco) Tarro.

Joseph was a plant manager for Lornettes Manufacturing, East Providence, RI, for many years until retiring in 1992. Joseph was a US Navy veteran serving in World War II.

Besides his wife Dorothy Tarro, Joseph is survived by a son; Michael Tarro, two sisters; Olive Olivera and Christine Tarro, eight grand children and seven great grand children. He was predeceased by a brother; Albert Tarro and two sisters; Gilda Massemino and Connie Levesque.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Saint John and Paul Church, 301 South Main Street, Coventry, RI. A calling hour will be held prior from 9:45 am to 10:45 in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
