Josephine (Iaconetti) Gamba

Josephine Gamba, 81, of Maplewood Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Respiratory & Rehabilitation of RI, Coventry, RI. Born on December 21, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the wife of Salvatore Gamba. They were married for fifty-nine years. She was the daughter of the late Emidio and Providenza (Soldano) Iaconetti.

Josephine was the general manager of Woodland Manor I and II, Coventry, RI, from the day it was opened for twenty-five years until retiring in 2008. She enjoyed going to Foxwood’s Casino, Ledyard, CT, playing bingo and playing games on the computer.

Besides her husband Salvatore Gamba, Josephine is survived by a daughter: Jeannine Behm, two grandchildren; Stacey Behm-Justiniano and Aleck Behm and a great grand-daughter; Emilia Justiniano. She was predeceased by a brother; Louis Iaconetti and a sister; Lucy Scupelliti.

Josephine’s service will be private.
