Kathleen Murray Obituary

Kathleen Murray, 63 of Coventry, was lifted up by Jesus, and taken home on August 10, 2025. She was greeted by so many of her loved ones that left before her, especially her beloved Nathan, whom she loved so much. Kathleen was courageous in fighting a 14 month illness.

Born in Warwick on September 26, 1961, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Morse-Murray.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Bernard Murray Jr. (Opal), Karl Murray, and Dorothy Marsocci (Fred), a long time companion Lori Lanoue, as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was a lifelong resident in Coventry, where she grew up on her beloved Tiogue Lake where she resided her whole life. During her younger years Kathy was an Avid Golfer and Skier as well. After High School She spent many summers on Great Island in Narragansett. "She loved the Beach and the Ocean." Kathy loved her Music and loved to dance, especially her Disco Era. During Kathy's later years, she spent summers in Rhode Island on her Lake, and winters in Naples, Florida, with her partner Lori. She traveled with her dog Nike down to Florida each year.

Kathy was an accomplished Realtor, Banker, and her last job was a Transaction Coordinator with the Nathan Clark Group, before falling ill. She was one of the most independent people we knew, and accomplished so many milestones in her life. Kathy was a selfless and kind person and all her knew her loved her. Her Love for her family, including her many nieces and nephews was always a topic of discussion, and how proud she was of all of them.

Many thanks to Care New England at Kent Hospital, and the nurses on the 3rd floor Oncology Unit, for the kindness and support they showed Kathleen in her final days. Also, many thanks to Kristen who has taken care of Kathy's Beloved Dog Nike, throughout this time, and to Amanda for her support and strength to Kathy and her family during this period.
