Liam Stahlbush, beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, following a tragic car accident in Coventry, R.I. He was 21 years old.
Born July 14th, 2005, in Providence, R.I., Liam brought immense joy, light, and laughter to everyone who knew him. He was a vibrant soul known for his infectious smile, kind heart, and the deep love he carried for his family and friends.
Liam grew up in Sterling, CT, where he formed countless friendships that shaped his life. He loved sports from a young age—basketball, football, soccer—anything that kept him active and connected to the people he cared about. He also found great fulfillment in spending time at the gym, working hard, staying disciplined, and focusing on eating healthy. Fitness wasn’t just a hobby for Liam; it was a part of how he cared for himself and lived with intention.
But his greatest joy was simply being with family, friends, and his dogs, Jake and Finn.
Though Liam did not have any blood brothers, he built a brotherhood through the friendships he nurtured over the years. The young men who stood by him, laughed with him, and shared life with him were his brothers in every way that mattered. Their bond was chosen, loyal, and deeply rooted, and they will carry his spirit forward.
Liam was predeceased by his grandparents Carol and Richard Farkas, and by his grandfather Robert Stahlbush. He is also predeceased by his cousin, Justin. He is survived by his grandmother, Mary Stahlbush; his loving parents, Lloyd and Cecelia Stahlbush; his devoted aunts and uncles (Andrew & Mirian, Ron & Lisa, Sandra); his cousins (Michael, Andrew, Lucas, Jonas, and Lola); and his godmother, Lisa Herrick, along with many dear friends who loved him like family.
Liam’s warmth, humor, and presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind—always.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 1 pm – 5 pm @ Mashantucket Pequot Museum, 110 Pequot Trail, Mashantucket, CT 06338.
