Linda C. Morin

Linda Claire Morin, 74, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Orchard View Manor in Riverside, RI. Born in Pawtucket, RI on February 14, 1951, Linda was the daughter of the late Norman and Bella (Drolet) Morin.

A graduate of Rhode Island College, Linda retired in 2012 from a long career with Stop & Shop Supermarkets. Besides working with customers at the market every week, Linda found time to drive for The Blind and take elderly members of her church family to appointments and grocery shopping. An avid reader, Linda would read a cookbook or a knitting pattern as though it was a novel and created many delicious dishes and beautiful knitted items for her family and friends. She found the time to create treasured memories for her niece and nephew by taking them to Paw Socks games, the Harlem Globetrotters, the Circus and the Ice Capades. Linda helped in her father's care and took him out every weekend after he suffered from a heart condition that incapacitated him.

Linda is survived by her sister Joanne Taji, her niece Jodi Moore and her husband Douglas Moore as well as her nephew Jeffery Sheffer. She will also be missed by her adopted niece Michelle Carpenter. She was predeceased by her sister Sharon Grace.

While at Orchard View Manor she received loving and special care from everyone on staff but especially Maria Liriano and Coco.
