Lionel J. Houle

Lionel J. Houle, 87, of Lane E., Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Kent Regency, Warwick, RI. Born on June 26, 1937, in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Cynthia (Morton) Houle. They were married for fifty-two years. He was the son of the late Lionel and Yolanda (Dibiasio) Houle.

Lionel was a custodian for forty years for the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, before retiring in 2005. He loved his family and made many trips to visit his brother Richard Houle who passed away November 2019. He had many great times with his brother and his wife Linda visiting Walt Disney World, FL. He will be greatly missed.

Besides his wife Cynthia Houle, he is survived by nieces and nephews; Richard Houle, Anne and Tony Pescarino, Karen DeSano, Michael and Eileen Houle, Debbie and David Scaiarra and his two cats Teddy and Dusty. He was predeceased by two sons; Allan Houle and Timothy Houle, a brother; Richard Houle and a sister; Claire Houle.
