Margaret A. Case, 79, of Lemis Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Hope Health Hospice in Providence. Born on September 30, 1946, in West Warwick, she was the wife of the late Robert Case and the daughter of the late John F. and Cecile (Carvalho) Capron.
In her younger years, Margaret worked at Kent Hospital and later served as a crossing guard for Coventry Elementary School. She was a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her family. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, had a special affection for animals—especially her cats—and was an enthusiastic fan of sports and softball.
She is survived by her son, Jason M. Case (Kimberly); her brothers, Robert Capron (Kaye) and John Capron; her grandchildren, Brendan Case and Audrey Case; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, especially Robert Capron, Hannah Capron, and Elizabeth Capron.
Margaret’s service will be private and held at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
