Margaret T. (Leyland) Leavitt

Margaret T. Leavitt, 91, of Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich, RI, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Kent Regency, Warwick, RI. Born on December 30, 1930, she was the wife of the late Raymond C. Leavitt Sr. and the daughter of the late Fred and Sarah (Trainer) Leyland.

Margaret was a homemaker to her loving family. She enjoyed watching the birds outside her window especially cardinals, word search books, going to bingo, knitting and caring for her plants.

Margaret is survived by five children: Dorothy Simmons, Raymond Leavitt Jr., Kathleen Cota, Thomas Leavitt and Paul Leavitt, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five siblings: Betty Finneran, Dorothy Leyland, Helen Williams, Harry Leyland and John Leyland.

Margaret’s service will be private.
