Mark J. Amaral

Mark J. Amaral, 66, of Summit Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born on December 25, 1956 in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Nancy (Lydick) Amaral. They were married for forty-seven years. He was the son of the late Alphonse and Theresa (Leveillee) Amaral.

Mark was a police officer and detective for the West Warwick Police Department, West Warwick, RI, for thirty-three years before retiring in 2011.

Besides his wife Nancy Amaral, Mark is survived by two daughters; Nicole O’Brien and Kelly Amaral, a sister Joyce Marsella and her husband Steven and two grandchildren; Benjamin O’Brien and Sarah O’Brien.

Marks services will be private.
