Mary Ann Brunette, 83, of Plain Meeting House Road, West Greenwich, RI, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Hope Health Hospice in Providence. Born on January 1, 1943, in Warwick, she was the wife of the late Donald Brunette and the daughter of the late Freeman I. and Mary C. (Watling) Searle.
Mary worked as an administrator for Phoenix House in Exeter for more than twenty years before retiring in 2008. She cherished time spent with her family, loved fishing at Branch Pond in Maine, and enjoyed many years of motorcycling adventures with her husband. She often shared that she knew she would marry him from the moment they met in the fourth grade.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Brunette (Heide) and Dennis Brunette (Aimee); her grandchildren, Heather Baril (Jeremy), Devin Brunette (Beth), Chelsea Cooper (Harold), Ally Petrosinelli, and Ariana Petrosinelli; and her great‑grandchildren, Haley, Jason, Bradley, Gillian, and Charlie. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sisters, Lois Underwood and Evelyn Szydlo.
