Mary N. (Del Padre) Slater

Mary N. Slater, 88, of Union Drive, North Kingstown, RI, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at home. Born on March 5, 1934, in Providence, RI, she was the wife of the late Donald T. Slater and the daughter of the late John Sr. and Isabelle (Leamy) Del Padre.

Mary was a Marketing Manager for Gulton Industries, East Greenwich, RI, for ten years before retiring. She was a member of the Rhode Island Mothers of Twins Club, Coventry, RI.

Mary is survived by five children; Stephen Iadeluca, Susan Brown, Sharon Iadeluca, Tina Duchesneau and Tracy Delehanty, three sisters, Kathleen Crowley, Patricia Meyers and Carol Grafton, nine grandchildren; Nathan Brown, Nicole Brown, Alexander Brown, Shay Scott, Cynthia Scott, Farrah Duchesneau, Erica Duchesneau, Stacy Delehanty and Patrick Delehanty, twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; Donald Del Padre, John Del Padre, David Del Padre and three sisters; Isabelle Haslip, Barbara DiPanni and Margaret Roma.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:00 am in the St. Vincent De Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent De Paul Street, Coventry, RI, with a funeral service to be held prior at 8:45 am from the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
