Mary Ann (Shawgo) DiMartino, formally of West Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully at age 67 on April 8, 2019.

Mary was born on August 14, 1950 in Colfax, WA. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Rosie (Bafus) Shawgo. Mary grew up on her parent’s farm in Lamont, WA with her brother, Thomas Shawgo. After graduating high school, she earned a degree in cosmetology in Spokane, WA. In 1973 she relocated to Rhode Island with her husband and young son. It was in Rhode Island where she spent the rest of her life and raised her children.

Mary had many interests, including cooking, gardening, riding her motorcycle, camping, and traveling with friends and family. She also worked for CVS Pharmacy for over 30 years before retiring

Mary is survived by her son Christopher DiMartino and his wife Angela of Hope, RI and her son Timothy DiMartino of Cranston, RI, her brother, Thomas Shawgo and his wife Linda of St. John, WA as well as her loving grandchildren, Molly and Jarod DiMartino of Hope, RI. Mary also leaves her former husband Anthony DiMartino of Cranston, RI and many cousins and family in Washington.
