Michael H. Auger

Michael H. “OJ” Auger, 60, of Arnold Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at home. Born on October 11. 1962 in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Linda D. Choquette. They were married for twenty –seven years. He was the son of the late Francis E, Sr. and Rita (Carr) Auger.

Michael was the owner and operator of Acme Construction in Coventry, RI for twenty -five years, building, refurbishing and revitalizing homes and businesses. Michael was best known for his infectious laugh and ability to always see the positive in life. He took great pride in his business as a contractor and was always available to lend a helping hand to family and friends. When he was not using his talent as a contractor, he enjoyed building and riding his Harley Davidson. He also took pleasure in a traditional early morning Saturday breakfast with his brother and friend, Buddy, where they laughed and reminisced about their younger days.

Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved wife, Linda. Together they spent 27 years building a home and raising their adored Rottweilers. They also enjoyed kayaking and quahogging, gardening and entertaining, and relaxing in their pool and backyard.

Besides his wife Linda Choquette, Michael is survived by a brother Francis Auger Jr., a sister, Marie Pepin, a niece Amanda Lynn Pepin and his rottie, Baybe.
