Michael Barbera

Michael Barbera, 79, of Deerfield Road, Coventry, RI, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Born on October 1, 1945, in Cleveland, OH, he was the husband of Candice (Achin) Barbera. They were married for forty-nine years. He was the son of the late Ross and Donna (Exstand) Barbera.

Michael was a jeweler for Klitzner Industries, Providence, RI, for thirty-five years before retiring in 2006. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Michael was also a member of the Narragansett Gun Club, Exeter, RI.

Besides his wife Candice Barbera, he is survived by two children; Amy Austin and her husband Matt and Amanda King and her husband Ryan, a brother; Sam Barbera and his wife Jackie, and three grandchildren; Zachary King, Keira King and Mason Kalman.

Michael’s service will be private.
