Michael D. Jones

Michael D. Jones, 55, of Flat River Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on September 4, 1966, in Portsmouth, VA he was the son of Robert Jones Jr. and the late Patricia (Bowder) Jones.

Michael was a real estate agent for Real Estate One, Warwick, RI, for twelve years before retiring in 2013. Michael enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Minnesota Vikings lose and loved to purchase storage lockers with his children.

Besides his father Robert Jones Jr., he is survived by four children; Patryck Jones and his wife Randi, Ashley Ead and her husband Jason, Wesley Jones Sr. and his wife Darny and Tristen Jussaume, a brother; Robert Jones III, a sister; Jody Barcomb and four grandchildren; his bumbles Indiana Jones and Henry Jones, Grayson Jussaume and his Weewoe Wesley Jones Jr., two nieces; Heather Gast and Kayla Weber and two nephews; Tylor Jones and Cody Barcomb.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
