Michael P. Penardo Sr.

Michael P. Penardo Sr., 80, of Elizabeth Way, East Greenwich, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, RI. Born on April 12, 1945, in Warwick, RI, Michael was the devoted husband of the late Suzanne (Lott) Penardo and the cherished son of the late Napoleon and Marcella (Schell) Penardo.

Michael dedicated 20 years of his career as a skilled machinist with Warwick Company, followed by 15 years of service with Brown & Sharpe, before retiring in 1995. He was a proud member of the Coventry Pines Golf League and found deep fulfillment in woodworking—a craft he pursued with remarkable talent and passion.

He is survived by his loving children: Candace Moulton, Michael Penardo Jr., and Natalie Penardo; his sisters Sandy Greene and Merry Ann Penardo; grandchildren Matthew Penardo, Elizabeth Penardo and Rachel Smith; and great-granddaughter Avery Penardo. Michael also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his warmth and generosity. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Andrea Penardo and a brother, Frank Penardo.
