Nancy L. (Wilbur) Assumpico

Nancy L. Assumpico, 90, of Knotty Oak Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hope, RI, on December 9, 1929 she was the wife of the late Anthony A. Assumpico Sr. and the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Wilbur) Brayton.

Nancy was a cooks helper for the State of Rhode Island Coventry School District for twenty-five years until retiring in 1979. She was a Coventry Senior Center Board Member and a Coventry Education town committee member in 2012.

Nancy is survived by two sons; Anthony A. Assumpico Jr. and his wife Pearl and Kevin W. Assumpico, three grandchildren; Tammy DeAlmedia, Tina Jensen and Tanya Zubee and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son; Steven B. Assumpico and nine brothers and sisters.

Nancy’s services will be private.
