Sadly, Patricia A. Marcotte, 80, of Sherwood Valley Lane, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. Born in Providence on February 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian (Chamberlain) Ellinwood.
Pat was deeply devoted to her faith, family, friends, and community. She lived her life for her boys and grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Scott Marcotte (Lisa), David Marcotte (Melissa), and Craig Marcotte (Anne); and her grandchildren, Anthony, Bretton, Savannah, Alex, and Cameron Marcotte. She was predeceased by her brother, Steven Ellinwood.
Guided by the tenets of her faith, she lived her life by giving unto others. Her kindness and generosity were felt daily in the time she devoted, whether in volunteering or baking for friends and family. Pat was an exceptional artist and many of us are lucky to have her paintings as a reminder that although she is in a better place her love will always be with us.
To honor her life, please join us for a funeral service on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.
