Obituary
Patricia A. Wood, 78, of Long Street, East Greenwich, RI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI, surrounded by her family. Born on June 19, 1944, she was the wife of Raymond Wood. They were married for sixty-one years. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Pimental) Bertrand.
Over the years, Patricia worked as a greeter at Walmart, a server at Riccotti’s, and a server for Wendy’s. Her most cherished job was helping take care of her granddaughter, Julia. She loved spending time with her family more than anything and with her beloved cat, Boy, too. Patricia enjoyed her weekly card nights as well.
Besides her husband, Raymond, she is survived by four children; Leeann Platt and her husband Thomas, Tracey Kiernan and her husband Kenneth, Michelle Raleigh and her husband William and Amber Wood and five grandchildren; Jordan Raleigh, Megan Raleigh, William Raleigh, Rachel Kiernan and Julia Ambrosia.
