Paul G. Soucie

Paul Gilbert Soucie, 72, of Ledge Road, Dayville, CT passed away on Monday June 5th, 2023, at Evergreen Healthcare Center, Stafford Springs, CT from complications of MS.  Born on June 1, 1951, in Caribou, ME.  He was the son of Mary E. (Albert) Soucie and the late Paul A. Soucie.

Despite a long-term battle with Gillain-Barre' Syndrome, he was able to lead a productive life as a computer programmer, enabling him to live and work in CO, CA and TX until finally retiring from Acushnet, Titleist in MA in 2000.

After retiring he wrote several unpublished books and traveled to the Ukraine.  A lifelong bachelor, Paul had a love for life.  He enjoyed reading, swimming, collecting die-cast vehicles and planting his gardens, especially tomatoes and eggplant.

He is survived by his mother Mary Soucie, his brother Donald Soucie, sisters Valerie Rudolph and Christine King.  He was predeceased by his sister Donna Peffer.

There will be a private Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date.
