Pauline Rice Obituary

Pauline J. Rice, 91, of Harkney Hill Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry, RI. Born on June 12, 1929 in West Warwick, RI, she was the wife of the late Warren Rice and the daughter of the late Archille and Cecile (Roy) Hemingway.

Pauline was a banquet manager at Evelyn’s Villa and the Villa DiGiorgio, West Warwick, RI, for many years before retiring in 1996.

Pauline was an avid knitter, baker, painter of water colors, decorator, homemaker and loved taking care of her home. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending the holidays with her family.

Pauline is survived by four children; Jamie Buglio, Randall Rice, Leslie Nogueira and William Rice, ten grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was predeceased by four sisters; Simone Hubert, Monique Capwell, Rita McGill and Bertha Byron.

A memorial service for Pauline will be held at a later date in the spring of 2021.
