Richard A. Houle Sr., 82, of Pine Grove Avenue, Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice on Tuesday, December 23, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on January 8, 1938 in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of the late Roy and Alma (Legere) Houle.

Richard “Mr. Houle” was a carpenter for thirty-two years for Local #94 Warwick, RI, before retiring in 1989. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Coventry Men’s Club, VFW 9404 and Club Jogues, Coventry, RI.

Richard is survived by four children; John, Bobby, Pam and Dicky, a brother; Ted Houle, a sister; Marilyn Coulbourne, Pepere to; Michael, Jennifer, Samantha, Bryan, Madison, Jillian and Joshua and great grandfather to; Layla and Grant and companion to; Rita Monte and her daughter Susan, father in law to; Lorain, Monique and Tommy. He was predeceased by a sister; Lorraine Morrell.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Richard’s services will be private.
