Richard Petrangelo Obituary

Richard R. Petrangelo, 74, of Providence Street, West Warwick, RI, passed away on August 6, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on December 17, 1945 in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Maria M. (Antonelli) Petrangelo and the son of Raymond and Doris (McCormick) Petrangelo.

Richard was a pipe fitter for Electric Boat, Quonsett, RI for many years retiring in 2003. He was also a model staff worker for Anthony Brodeur. Richard was an avid New York Yankee’s fan.

Besides his wife Richard is survived by two brothers; Normand Petrangelo and Raymond Petrangelo and two sisters; Mary Petrangelo and Gloria Cocklin.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
