Ricky J. Buchanan, Sr.

Ricky J. Buchanan Sr., 61, of New London Turnpike, West Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Born on January 11, 1964, in Warwick, RI, he was the beloved husband of Sue E. (Hicks) Buchanan. The couple shared thirty wonderful years of marriage.

Ricky was a dedicated employee of Primary Flow Signal in Cranston, RI, where he worked as a sand blaster for twenty-five years. He was also an avid bowler who enjoyed time at the lanes and the camaraderie that came with it.

In addition to his wife, Sue, Ricky is survived by his three children: Ricky J. Buchanan Jr., Tiffany Buchanan, and Cassie Buchanan. He was predeceased by five siblings: Kevin Buchanan, Kathy Buchanan, Mary Cherenzia, Wally Buchanan, and Steven Buchanan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
