Robert P. Gould

Robert P. Gould, 76, of Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 peacefully surrounded by family at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry, RI, where he resided for the last ten years. Born on August 15, 1944 in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Patricia (Beals) Gould. They were married for fifty-five years. He was the son of the late Earl and Irene (Ferreira) Gould.

Robert was the owner and operator of Big River Transfer for forty-five years before retiring in 2010. He also worked in the public works department for the State of RI, as a truck driver for Art Richmond, West Greenwich, RI and Cardi Corporation, Coventry, RI. Robert was a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era.

Besides his wife Patricia Gould, Robert is survived by a daughter; Michele McDonald, a son; Mark Gould and his extended family the Andrews and Tefft families. He was predeceased by a son David Gould.
