Robert L. Silvaggio

Robert L. Silvaggio, 70, of Taft Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruby (Cummings) Silvaggio.

Robert was a ship fitter for Electric Boat, North Kingstown, RI, for many years. He was also the owner and operator of Ruby’s Catering service. Robert was a US Army Veteran serving in peacetime and was a member of club Dabormida, West Warwick, RI, for many years.

Robert is survived by six children: Nathan Silvaggio. Julia Silvaggio, Sarah Silvaggio, Jennifer Silvaggio, Justin Silvaggio and Heather Hood, a brother; David Silvaggio, ten grandchildren, a nephew; Kevin Silvaggio and a companion; Laurie Bestwick. He was predeceased by a brother; Frank Silvaggio.

Robert’s services will be private.
