Robert D. E. White Sr.

Robert D. E. White Sr., 58, of Mayfair Road, Warwick, RI, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at RI Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Warwick, RI on November 4, 1963 he was the son of Ida (Collins) Durning and the late Eugene White. He was also step son to Frank Spencer.

Robert was a carpenter by trade for many years. He was a graduate of New England School of Technology, Warwick, RI, nursing program, class of 1992. He loved cooking, fishing, spending time outdoors and loved animals especially his cat Rascal.

Besides his mother Ida Durning and step father Frank Spencer, he is survived by a son; Robert D. White Jr., four siblings; Marie (White) Canfield, Kevin Spencer, Kenneth Spencer and Brenda (Spencer) Denton, a very close personal friend Mary Richards and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Gorton – Menard Funeal Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be prior from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.
