Robin Reynolds Obituary

Robin Reynolds, 68 of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully June 13, 2020 at Morgan Nursing Facility, Johnston, RI.

She will be laid to rest with her late beloved son, Richard DeRouin, at St. Josephs Cemetery, on June 22. 2020. The family has decided that there will be no visitation. Services will be private.

Robin was born March 29, 1952 to William and Mimi Reynolds in Warwick, RI. She went to Warwick Veterans High School, and graduated in 1970. She went on to attend the Community College of Rhode Island, after giving birth to her 4 beautiful daughters. Robin was a wonderful, reliable and caring mother and wife. She could consistently be counted on for her optimistic viewpoint of life, always reminding everyone the glass was always half full, not otherwise. Being mindful of the little things in life, Robin loved from deep within her very soul, celebrating anything involving her children or family, no matter how big or small. If you were within her circle at any time, you were lucky to be loved completely. Rarely raising her voice, Robin had a gentle, yet powerful touch. She adored her girls, and one of her favorite things was to hear them sing “Silent Night” during Christmas when they were young. Robin was most well known for being an amazingly creative soul. She loved to be painting, drawing and creating homemade fashion jewelry for friends and family. She also loved knitting, sewing, crocheting, reading, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. Later in life, she was known for being a fighter, battling lung cancer up until her passing. Her smile, laugh and big crystal blue eyes were all contagious to anyone who encountered her. She will be deeply missed, as heaven has gained another wonderful angel.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mimi; her son Richard, and her sister Michelle Reynolds Speight of Citra, FL.

Robin is survived by her four daughters: Stacey L. DeRouin, Tara E. Diffley, Candace L. DeRouin, Blair A. DeRouin, and four grandchildren: Madison Rose, Ethan Joseph, Gabrielle Paige, and Hunter James.
