Roy F. Nolte Jr.

Roy F. Nolte Jr., 85, of Harkney Hill Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at home. Born on May 31, 1939, in Hoboken, NJ, he was the husband of the late Jeannine (Gelinas) Nolte and the son of the late Roy Sr., and Susie (Schurko) Nolte.

Roy was a machinist for Electric Boat in Groton, CT, for thirty-two years before retiring in 1994. After retirement he worked part time at Centreville Bank, RI. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Roman and his family.

Roy is survived by a daughter; Sheryl DiBernardo and her husband Joseph, three grandchildren; Natalia DiBernardo, Ariana DiBernardo and Roman DiBernardo, a brother in law; Francis Spadavecchia, two nephews; Nicholas Spadavecchia and his wife Kelli, and Francis Spadavecchia and his wife Jennifer, a niece Isabel Wallis and her husband Jim. He was predeceased by a sister; Susan Ann Spadavecchia and a good friend Thomas Kumes.

Roy’s service will be private.
