Stasia A. (Magiera) Spear

Stasia A. Spear, 84, of Earl Street, West Warwick, RI, passed away on February 24, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born on April 14, 1939, in West Warwick, RI, she was the wife of the late Milton B. Spear and the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Skurski) Magiera.

Stasia was a medical secretary for the office of Dr. Beverly Brown, West Warwick, RI, for twenty-five years. She was a member of the Coventry PNA and a communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa, Coventry, RI.

Stasia is survived by a daughter; Bernadette Degrasse, a brother; David Magiera, three grandchildren; Brandon T. Spear, Michaela A. Bowden and Jordan E. Degrasse, six great grandchildren; Darian Spear, Dasean Spear, Brandon Spear Jr., Calina Bowden, Ciana Bowden and Jaxson Ouimette. She was predeceased by eleven siblings.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
