Verna Craft Obituary

Verna M. Craft, 85, of Hill Street, Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry, RI. Born on May 31, 1936 in Providence, RI, she was the wife of William G. Craft. They were married for fifty-five years. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (Overholt) Cahoon.

Verna was a Quality Controller for Levington Manufacturing, Warwick, RI, for fifty years before retiring in 2001.

Besides her husband William, Verna is survived by a brother; Dennis Cahoon, two nieces and four nephews; and was predeceased by a brother; Daniel Cahoon. Also, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty C. Whitford, nephew E Charles Whitford and wife Alicia A. Pomfret, niece Cathy A. Whitehead (Whitford) and husband Mark Whitehead; predeceased by brother-in-law Earl C Whitford, and also survived by several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Verna’s services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
