Vincent A. Testa, 87, of Carley Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 2, 2026. He was born in Providence on January 10, 1939, he was the beloved son of the late Vincent A. Testa, Sr. and Domenica (Fetta) Testa.
Vincent worked as a machinist at Arkwright in Coventry RI for 35 years before retiring in 1999. Over the years, he also worked as a truck driver for Purina Chows and as a forklift operator for Star City Glass. He proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a longtime member of the El Dorado Car Club. Vincent especially enjoyed gathering with his Arkwright breakfast group at the Olde Theater Diner.
A lover of the outdoors, Vincent found joy in motorcycle riding, horseback riding, and antique cars. He was a familiar face at car shows and loved singing along to Elvis Presley songs. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family and was known as the life of the party.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane C. Blake, and her husband, Timothy; his sisters, Theresa Baldinelli and Eleanor Baldinelli; his pride and joy were his grandchildren, Michael V. Colwell, Cory E. Colwell, and Raymond G. Colwell; and, his great-grandson, Liam Colwell-Guthrie. He was predeceased by his siblings Richard Testa, Nicholas Testa and Camile Testa
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A visitation will be held prior from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial to follow will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, West Warwick, RI.
