Virginia M. (Porrazzo) Andreason

Virginia M. Andreason, 87, of Red Oak Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Coventry, RI. Born in Providence, RI, she was the wife of the late Allan R. Andreason and the daughter of the late Pasquale and Eileen (Mann) Porrazzo.

Virginia was a cashier for Almacs Supermarket, Warwick, RI, for thirty years until retiring. She was devoted to her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and visits from her great grandchildren brought her great joy. She was kind and generous to a fault, Loved by all who knew her.

Virginia is survived by five children; Linda C. Authelet and her husband Bruce, Jodi L. Vincent and her husband David, Cindy Lee Andreason and her companion Christopher Wilhelm, Alan C. Andreason and his wife Ellen and Lori Jean Andreason and her companion John Palazzo, two sisters; Margaret Metcalf and Veronica Manzo, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a daughter in law Theresa Andreason. She was predeceased by a daughter; Donna Jean Andreason, a son; Richard A. Andreason, a grandson; Bruce R. Authelet, three brothers and a sister.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be prior from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
