Walter A. Pierson

Walter A. Pierson, 77, of Howard Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Eleanor Slater Hospital in Burrillville. Born on December 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Herman and Florence S. (Otto) Pierson.

Walter spent many years working as a farm hand, where he found purpose in the simple, honest labor of milking cows, cutting wood, and building fences. His work reflected a life of quiet dedication and strength. In his youth, Walter was a proud member of his high school football team, earning a varsity letter and the respect of his peers.

He is survived by his sister, Norma A. Fox, and two nephews, Jason Fox and James McReynolds. Walter was predeceased by his brother, Wallace Pierson.
