William E. Gelinas

William E. “Eddie” Gelinas, 72, of Church Avenue, Warwick, RI, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Hope Health and Palliative Care, Providence, RI. Born on June 25, 1951, in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of the late Jean (Provost) Gelinas and the son of the late Raymond and Annie (Essex) Gelinas.

William was a wood finisher for Grinnel Cabinet, Cranston, RI for seven years before retiring in 2012.

William is survived by two children; Cindy Gelinas and Tammy Price, five siblings, Bernice Fehnel, Raymond Gelinas, Robert Gelinas, Doris Curran and Florence Legge and six grandchildren; Brianna Southworth, Raquel Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Jessenia Gonzalez, Joshua Gonzalez and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a twin sister, Carol Regan.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
