William E. Keenan, Sr., 73, of Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at RI Hospital. William was born in Warwick, RI, and was the husband of Lillian G. (Bates) Keenan. They were married for fifty-two years. He was the son of the late Edward Keenan Jr. and Virginia (O’Brien) Mielke.

William was a Foreman at Stanley Bostitch, in East Greenwich, for eighteen years and was a Casino Supervisor and Gaming Instructor at Foxwoods Casino for seventeen years until retiring in 2009.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children; William E. Keenan, Jr. and his wife Julie and Brenda S. Shakoori and her husband Mike, three brothers; Edward Keenan, III., Thomas Keenan and Eddie Keenan, a sister; Jane Cline, five grandchildren; Kayvon, Nacime, Heather, Kristina and Karissa, and two great grandsons; Travis and Dominic.

William’s services will be private.
