William I. Morgan III, 50, of Wethersfield Drive, Warwick, RI, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 1, 1974, in Warwick, RI, he was the son of Alice I. (Capwell) Morgan and the late William I. Morgan, Jr.
William dedicated 30 years of his career as a maintenance mechanic at Custom Craft in West Warwick, RI. He also played a pivotal role in establishing Express Recovery in Warwick, RI, leaving a lasting impact on the community. He was a skilled, self-employed carpenter who took great pride in building homes. Beyond his craft, he cherished time with his family and found joy in helping anyone in need. He especially looked forward to his annual family baseball game, relished peaceful days spent fishing, and treasured every moment shared with friends and loved ones.
Besides his mother, Alice Morgan, he is survived by two daughters; Brittany Morgan and Tessa Morgan, six siblings; Kathleen Santos, Christine Weaver, Rebecca Raimondo, Cecelia Gallucci, Melissa and Kelly, a grandson; Bentley Morgan, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his dog and best friend Duke. He was married for many years to Michelle Morgan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:30 am in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, in West Greenwich, RI.
