William G. Strozier, 102, of Bristol, RI, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol. Born on January 10, 1924, in Washington, DC, he was the husband of the late Pauline H. (Anderson) Strozier and the son of the late Webster G. and Margaret (Ourand) Strozier.
William worked as a machine assembler at Brown & Sharpe for seven years before retiring in 1988. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. He was a member of Harmony Lodge No. 9, F.&A.M., in Cranston, and a past member of Doric Lodge No. 38, also in Cranston.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Reinstein, and three grandchildren, Christopher Rossi, Michael Reinstein, Sarah Reinstein and a great grandson Finn Reinstein. He was predeceased by his daughter, Susan J. Roberts.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the Gorton–Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. U.S. Military Honors will be rendered immediately following the service. Burial at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.
