Geoffroy Maurice Smith, 64, of Coventry, Rhode Island passed away at sunrise, November 17th, 2015 at home surrounded with love.
Geoffroy was born to Gertrude and Maurice Smith on December 21st, 1950. He was the owner of Smitty’s Auto Service on Gervais St. in Coventry for 30 years after inheriting it from his father and he now leaves it in the capable hands of his son Daniel. Geoffroy was well loved and respected by all who knew him.
Geoffroy leaves behind his loving wife Marie, his five children Emily, Laura, Daniel, Brenda and Chelsea and their spouses, his three step-children Gregory, Shawn and Jonathan, 16 grandchildren and his two sisters Denise and Wendy, and countless others.
A celebration of his life will be held when the weather is warm. Date will be announced at a later time.
