Judith A. (Sharpe) Bowder

July 5, 1944 ~ March 15, 2017 (age 72) 72 Years Old

Judith A. Bowder (Sharpe), of 2 Grant Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on March 15, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Sharpe and sister of Joan Perry of East Providence, RI. She was the loving wife of Thomas H. Bowder and loving mother of Lorraine A. Amore, Thomas W. Bowder and Timothy M. Bowder. She was also the loving grandmother of Crystal A. Quinonez (Amore) and her husband Mark, Lindsey D. Bowder, Alyssa Marie Bowder, Timothy M. Bowder, Jr. and Tess J. Bowder; great grandmother of Charlotte L. Quinonez and step-great-grandmother to Mark Isaah and Yasibelle X. Quinonez. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and friends who were always active in her life.

Born in Providence, she grew up in South Kingston, RI attending South Kingston High School, and graduating in 1962. She was a creative person who enjoyed making the world a decorative place; her special holiday was Christmas and she always had “Green Bag Day” for all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. For many years she owned and operated a jewelry manufacturing company in Johnston, RI, “Judee Presents, Inc.” with a permanent show room at the Biltmore Hotel, in Providence, RI. Her high end rhinestone jewelry was sold all over the world with several pieces seen on TV shows, including Dynasty. Judee also wrote poetry about life experiences and was published in a book of poems in 1992. Her favorite times were those spent with grandchildren, watching them laugh and grow. Judee will be greatly missed by all those who knew and love her. Her time with us will leave this world a better place. Rest in Peace. We will miss you.

We would like to give special thanks to the VNA Care of New England for all their support and care during her illness.
